If you provide your home care through special care workers employed by you (employer model), you can be reimbursed for the necessary and reasonable costs. This also includes the employer and employee contributions to social insurance and employment promotion that are attributable to the remuneration of the special caregiver.
The care allowance must be taken into account for the reimbursement if you have received a care allowance instead of home care assistance. You will be reimbursed for the costs of employing spouses and parents if this ensures professional care.
During inpatient treatment, you will continue to be reimbursed for the necessary and reasonable costs of the special caregiver for a period of up to three months. Reimbursement beyond this period may be made on a case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances.
Please note that your social compensation provider will decide whether and to what extent you will receive support.
