Service Description

You want to fill vacancies, but don't want to search for suitable people on your own? The Employer Service of the Federal Employment Agency offers you its placement service for this purpose.

You can also use this service online and thus completely electronically. All you have to do is create a job offer on the Jobbörse online portal and place an order for placement. To do this, you need to register with the job exchange. Registration gives you further advantages, for example you can contact potential applicants.

Alternatively, you can also submit the job offer to the relevant employment agency using the online job registration form. There are also corresponding PDF documents available for download. You can download these, fill them out and send them to the relevant employment agency. You do not need to register with the job exchange to do this.

You will then be assigned a personal contact person at your responsible employer service. Within 48 hours, this person will coordinate the further procedure of the applicant search, the pre-selection of the applicant proposals and the online cooperation via the job exchange with you.


Process flow

You can instruct the employer service of the responsible employment agency to search for a job electronically, in writing or by telephone.

  • Electronically, you can place the placement order via the job exchange: Visit the Federal Employment Agency's Job Exchange website.
  • Register as a company or employer on your first visit.
  • From then on, log in with your user name and password.
  • On your personal start page you will find the link "Enter new job offer", click on it.
  • Enter the required data about your job offer in the input mask in order:
    • Type of job offer: for workers, apprentices, interns/trainees, self-employed, artists
    • Job info: describe the position to be filled.
    • Conditions: Enter information about working hours, compensation, start date of employment, time limit if applicable, place of practice.
    • Requirements: What professional training, (leadership) skills and licenses should your future workers possess?
    • Contact information: Name a contact person in your company and select a type of application procedure, for example:
      • by phone
      • in writing
      • e-mail
      • Job board.
  • If you have already created a job offer in your user account, you can place a placement order for it:
    • You confirm the query for transfer when creating the job offer.
    • You select the "Place placement order" button on the job offer overview page.
    • You click the "Place placement order" icon in the job offer overview.

You also have the option of submitting the placement order electronically using the online job submission form:

  • Visit the Federal Employment Agency's Job Exchange website.
  • Select the "Report staffing needs" button and an online job notification form will open.
  • The form can be completed online and sent directly to the relevant employment agency. Registration in the JOBBÖRSE is not necessary.

Alternatively, you can submit the placement order in writing:

  • Download the corresponding form of the job board:
    • Placement order job
    • Placement order for training position
  • Fill out the form completely. Then print it out and sign it.
  • Submit the form by mail, by fax, by e-mail or in person to the employer service responsible for you at the employment agency/job center. If necessary, discuss your requirements with your personal advisor.

You can also submit the placement request verbally (in person/by telephone):
